Nigerian football icon Segun Odegbami has hailed Ademola Lookman and says he is on the path to becoming a great player.
Lookman helped underdogs Atalanta defeat Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 with a spectacular hat-trick, the first by any African in a European final.
The Super Eagles striker was voted Man of the Match because of his outstanding confidence and elegant elegance when scoring all of his goals.
Odegbami was also convinced by Lookman's outstanding performance at the 2023 AFCON, where he finished as Nigeria's most productive player with three goals and an assist.
