Soydan speaks on Osimhen and Icardi
The Argentine and Nigerian strikers hit it off immediately after Osimhen joined the club, with their chemistry evident on and off the pitch.
Soydan has commented on Icardi's friendship with Osimhen, saying the Argentine didn't anticipate the Super Eagles striker's success in Turkey.

He said as revealed by Haber Sari Kirmizi, “I can say this very clearly that Mauro Icardi is jealous of Osimhen.
“He didn’t expect him to explode this much. The fans also embraced Osimhen. It’s not just about football.

“A footballer is jealous of a footballer, a goal scorer is jealous of a goal scorer, a star is jealous of a star. It’s not a situation that an athlete can handle.
“If Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi had played 3-4 more games, they would have wiped Icardi off the field. He couldn’t focus on the field because he separated from his wife.

“If Osimhen started to get some efficiency, all the goals Mauro Icardi scored would be forgotten in 2 days, that’s all I’m saying,” the four-time Super Lïg winner concluded.
Osimhen has scored eight goals in ten appearances since moving to Galatasaray and has a combined goal of 20 with Icardi this season.
