Former Arsenal star tells the club to go all out for Victor Osimhen.
Former Arsenal star William Gallas has criticised the club's decision to back out of signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli last summer, and he believes the Gunners’ current option in the position, Kai Havertz, is of insufficient quality to the heights the North London-based side are attempting to reach.
The 25-year-old was one of the hottest prospects in the transfer window last summer, and Arsenal, reportedly in the market for a striker, were linked to him.

‘I can confirm that it's me’ - Ex-Arsenal star Bendtner caught up in a stab**ng incident with friends
Former Arsenal star Nicklas Bendtner was involved in a horrifying stabbing incident and barely avoided suffering major injuries.

What Gallas said
With Gabriel Jesus’s recurring injury problem and lack of potency in front of goal, Havertz, signed from Chelsea, has assumed the role as Arsenal's first-choice striker.
While he has impressed some with his effort, many others criticise his goal numbers and posit that he is incapable of providing the numbers required to lift Arsenal to Premier League glory.
Gallas shares that opinion, as he believes Havertz is not world-class, and he implored the 14-time English top-flight champions to make a move for Osimhen instead
“Kai Havertz has never ever been the right man to take Arsenal to the Premier League title,” he said, per Metro. “Havertz is a good player, but he’s not top-class. I’m sorry, but he’s nowhere near a world-class level, Arsenal need a player to replace him as striker.”
“I still don’t understand why Victor Osimhen is at Galatasaray; he needs to play in the Premier League and he can play at the top level at Arsenal.”
“It’s difficult to understand football sometimes, he played really well at Napoli, then made a move to Galatasaray, who are a big club but he needs to be playing at a higher level.
“Arsenal need a striker like Osimhen; the club needs to wake up, it’s obvious and simple, they need a striker.”
