Chelsea legend Gustavo Poyet has opened up on the potential arrival of Victor Osimhen at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have been linked to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for the past 18 months and made a big effort to make a deal happen this past summer.
The Blues reportedly failed to meet the financial requirements and the Napoli man subsequently joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan.
As the January window looms, the Blues have once again been linked with the 25-year-old, with several reports suggesting he could be available for cut-price.

Gustavo Poyet speaks on Osimhen to Chelsea
Speaking on Chelsea's need for a striker, ex-Blues star Gus Poyet insisted the club must be careful before making any big investments.
“Seeing how the team is performing now, will I bring someone who may unsettle the team? No. So you need to find the right player, the right character.
"More importantly, the right character that if he’s coming, he’s going to help and he’s going to improve the team and the competition.
“You [don’t want] someone who is going come and they’re going to mess everything around, you know?
"I think right now maybe going the whole season with the quantity of players that Chelsea go with.
"They have enough and [let]s see how they finish, then maybe in the summer is a different matter but, in January, I’m not so sure, but again it’s a question for Maresca.”
Osimhen has continued his excellent form, scoring 12 goals in 15 games for Galatasaray, and there is no doubt, he will once again dominate headlines during the transfer window.
