Mohamed Salah continued his impressive goalscoring record against Manchester United as he scored once and assisted twice to help Liverpool beat their eternal rivals 3-0 on their home ground.

Liverpool raced into an early lead when Trent Alexander Arnold found the back of the net inside eight minutes to silence Old Trafford early, but Salah was found to have been offside in the buildup, hence the goal was chalked off.
The Red Devils enjoyed a sustained spell of possession, but the Reds wrestled bad dominance. Arne Slot's side found the opener in the 35th minute thanks to an accurately delivered cross from Salah, which was headed into a vacated goal by Luis Diaz.
The Colombian doubled his and Liverpool's tally seven minutes later, combining with Salah again, and he got on the end of the Egyptian’s cutback before side-footing home.
