While Gor Mahia players are always under pressure to produce positive results for their demanding fanbase, they have a human side to them that few know of.

CAF Champions League: Gor Mahia want reinstatement to Champions League after making payments
News of their expulsion leaked almost 24 hours before they got official communication.
Who is Gor Mahia’s strongest player?
“Simiti (Geooffrey Ochieng) is our strongest player. People call him simiti (cement) because he is strong. The other day, he planked for 10 minutes ! Ernest Wendo is also strong. People do not realise this, but Benson Omala is also deceptively strong. He may be small in stature but he is tough to handle. Champe (John Ochieng) is another one, but Ochi is the strongest.”
Who is the most skillful?
“I would say Austin Odhiambo is our most skilled player. People see things like stepovers and think it is skill but the most important thing you can have as a player is intelligence and he has that. I also fancy myself as well!”

FOOTBALL FKF in waiting mode over Gor Mahia's CAF Champions League uncertainty
Reports are rife that the local giants may not participate in the continental competition because they have not met the club licensing rules.
Who is the funniest?
“Benson Omala likes to joke a lot, but I also do!"
Who is the fittest?
“Simiti (Geoffrey Ochieng) our left-back. He has gas and is physically strong."
Between Benson Omala and Jacques Tuyisenge, who is tougher to face?
“Tuyisenge in his prime would be difficult to handle. Both are different profiles of players but I think Tuyisenge is clear, especially when he was here. We also saw him."

The coach's comments come as K'Ogalo stare at a possible ban from engaging in continental football.
Who is the fastest?

Best moment of your career?
“My Premier League debut against KCB. I remember it to this day. I was excited to play that game. We ended up losing heavily 4-1, but I had a very good debut. We had a Gambian coach Bai Malleh Wadda. People may not remember him but he rated us after every match. He gave me the highest score of 7.5 that day. My opponents praised me that day as well, and so did the friends that came to watch me play."

OPINION: Kenya must invest in youth and grassroots football to become a regular World Cup and AFCON side. This is why
If Harambee Stars is to qualify for its first ever World Cup and always go far at the AFCON, this is why it must invest in youth and grassroots football.
Who is likely to be a future coach within the squad?
“I will make a good coach. I think Austin Odhiambo would make one as well. There is a way I always view how a game should be played. I also help mentor the young players, and most times, I organise my teammates both in a match and in training."
Biggest regret?
"I received my first call-up to the national team in 2015 as a Tusker player, but I was not able to fulfil the dream of playing for Harambee Stars because I unfortunately picked up a big toe injury when we played against Chemelil Sugar."

Best football advice?
"Just play the game. Wadda told me that. I had just left school and got thrown straight into the team. On the eve of my debut, he told me that he wanted to see me replicating what I did in training on the pitch. Just be you and play the game."
