During Friday evening's 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda, Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong confirmed that some players were played out of position.
The Super Eagles boost their chances of qualifying for the World Cup with a historic 2-0 victory over Rwanda.
Victor Osimhen scored a brace in the first half to give Nigeria a comfortable victory in their Group C clash.
However, they still have a lot of work to do to qualify for the World Cup and must avoid defeat in their remaining games.
