After excluding the five-time Ballon d'Or winner from his all-time list, Cassano claims Ronaldo reached out to him to juggle his memory with a list of every single trophy he's won.

Former Real Madrid star Antonio Cassano has accused Cristiano Ronaldo of sending him a message listing all of his career achievements after the Portuguese icon was snubbed from Cassano's top 10 greatest footballers list.

The news comes weeks after Cassano dissed the Al Nassr striker and downplayed his brilliance on the pitch despite all of his remarkable goalscoring records.

“Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't know how to play football,” Cassano said of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on the Viva El Futbol podcast.

“He can score 3,000 goals; I don't give a s--t. Players who played good football: Higuain, Lewandowski, Benzema, Aguero, Ibra, Suarez... They play team football, but Cristiano, what's his objective? Goal, goal, goal, goal.”

“During the last three or four years in Madrid, CR7 was a centre-forward. He's always been a left winger. Want to put him with those other attackers? The ones I've mentioned have a common denominator... Higuain, Aguero, Lewandowski, Benzema, Ibrahimovic and Suarez knew how to play with their teammates; Cristiano no.”

Cassano accuses Ronaldo of texting him all his trophies and sending voice note to prove point

Cassano, who played alongside Ronaldo at Real Madrid, revealed this during an appearance on the BSMT Podcast.

The Italian football legend explained that while he acknowledges Ronaldo’s incredible achievements, he prefers other players, such as Brazilian legend Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Pele, and Diego Maradona, as part of his all-time top 10.

During the podcast, Cassano shared details of how Ronaldo personally reached out to him after discovering he was excluded from the list. The former Italian international disclosed that Ronaldo sent him a detailed text, followed by a voice note.

According to Cassano, the text included a comprehensive list of all the trophies, goals, and career statistics that Ronaldo has accumulated over the years.

Cassano recounted, “I said Ronaldo is No. 1, the Brazilian. Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t make my top five, or even top ten, because for me the quality of a player is another thing." He continued, "Next thing, I finish the work I was doing and I get a text message from a +34 number, that’s Spain. It’s a list of all the trophies, goals, and statistics."

The conversation didn’t end there.

Ronaldo allegedly followed up with a voice note, expressing his displeasure over the perceived disrespect.

"He sends me a voice note, telling me, ‘You disrespected me, don’t do anything like that again. You only scored 150 goals, you only won four trophies.’ Perfect,” Cassano said.

In response, Cassano claimed he was unfazed by Ronaldo’s reaction and replied, "Dear Cristiano, listen to me. You think I disrespected you, I just don’t like you as a player. What’s the problem?"

Ronaldo is set to return to action with Portugal in their UEFA Nations League fixture this weekend.

The Group leaders will travel to Warsaw to play Poland with the 39-year-old expected to lead Roberto Martinez’s attack once more, having enjoyed an electric start to the new season so far.
