Manchester United's Erik ten Hag agreed that the club has a serious problem.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag emphasised the problems the Red Devils were facing by concurring with the assessment of the club's ex-coach Ragnick.
Ten Hag took over from Ragnick, who was hired as an interim manager and was at the helm of the club for six months, during which he only managed 11 wins in 29 games.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has denied reports that he is pushing the club to sign his former player.
Following his disappointing stint in charge, Ragnick assessed the club's status and declared that minor changes could not solve the problem and that the club needed, as they would instead need ‘an open heart surgery’.
What Ten Hag said
Speaking in an interview with Dutch newspaper AD Sportwereld, the former Ultrech manager agreed with Ragnick but stressed that they have been working hard at making Manchester United function appropriately.
“Rangnick was absolutely right," Ten Hag said "We have been working very hard on this for two years, but he said it exactly right: it is a thorough, very complex operation. And I knew when I started that it was going to be a tough job.”

Following the INEOS part-acquisition of the club, a number of recruitment in key areas have been made. The likes of Omar Berrada, Dan Ashworth, Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell have been hired at executive and directorial levels.
