Real Madrid and Brazil legend Marcelo has predicted the winner of the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
Former Real Madrid and Brazilian defender Marcelo believes there is already a clear favourite for this year's Ballon d'Or.
The 30-man nominees were announced last week, featuring an impressive array of talent, including Nigeria's Ademola Lookman, Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham, and Manchester City's Rodri as favourites.
However, Marcelo is confident that Vinicius Jr. will take home the coveted award without much trouble.

Marcelo backs Vinicius Junior for Ballon d'Or
Real Madrid's incredible 2023-24 season has earned them a strong presence on the shortlist with seven Los Blancos players including Vinicius Jr., Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, and Dani Carvajal are in the running.
Marcelo, speaking to MadridXtra, believes Vinicius Jr. stands out from the rest.
"Ballon d'Or? I think they will definitely give it to Vinícius Jr.," he said. "Carvajal, Bellingham, and Kroos played very well too."
It's worth noting that the current Ballon d'Or holder is Lionel Messi, who has won the award a record-breaking eight times and it will be interesting to see if Vinicius can indeed follow in his footsteps.
The 2024 Ballon d'Or winner will be announced in October.
