Blues legend William Gallas has revealed Chelsea's best lineup to challenge for the title, leaving out one key player.
Former Chelsea star William Gallas has revealed what he believes is the best starting lineup for Blues boss Enzo Maresca for the rest of the season.
Gallas believes this is Chelsea's best team and there's a surprise omission - Enzo Fernandez.
The former France international believes this is the most balanced team to compete with Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool, and explained his decision to leave out Fernandez.
"The best Chelsea XI is: Robert Sanchez, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Cucurella, Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Cole Palmer, Madueke, Neto and Jackson," Gallas told Genting Casino.
"Enzo Fernandez is on the bench. The problem with him is that you need to change your whole system to accommodate him.
"You can't put Fernandez next to Caicedo because he won't defend. Fernandez's game is 65 percent attack and 35 percent defense..
"Neto, Palmer, Madueke and Jackson won't defend, so Caicedo would've to defend by himself. That is why Lavia plays ahead of him."
Chelsea have looked more solid since Lavia returned from injury, and the Blues currently sit third in the Premier League standings, ahead of Arsenal.
