Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with Chelsea’s striker.

Christopher Nkunku has struggled for form and fitness in England after an impressive two seasons in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig, where he scored 58 goals.

However, since the French international moved to Chelsea, he has made only 42 appearances for the Blues, with a mere five Premier League starts since joining in 2023.

Nkunku has expressed his displeasure with the limited playing time he has at Stamford Bridge and is now on the brink of a return to the Bundesliga, this time with Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also reportedly looking to boost their attacking options, with Bayern Munich's teenage forward Mathys Tel as a target.

According to Sky Sport Germany's Kerry Hau, as reported by @iMiaSanMia, the situations of Tel and Nkunku are connected.

Bayern Munich's pursuit of Nkunku this month hinges on Tel's decision, if Tel rejects a move to Chelsea, Bayern's chances of acquiring Nkunku will reduced.

Despite  limited playing time, Nkunku has still managed a respectable 13 goals and four assists in 28 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea this season.

However, reports suggest he is unhappy with his current situation and desires more consistent playing time.

Nkunku's versatility is a key factor in discussions about his potential fit at Bayern Munich. This season, he has featured in various attacking roles for Chelsea, including striker (19 games), attacking midfielder (6 games), left winger (2 games), and second striker (1 game), according to Transfermarkt.
