Super Eagles legend John Obi Mikel has urged his former club to sign Europe's in-form striker in the next transfer window.
Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyökeres has been in tremendous form since the start of the new season.
The Swedish international has made 17 appearances, scoring 23 goals and providing 4 assists this season.
His form has caught the eye of top teams in Europe, including Premier League teams who are looking to sign the forward.

Mikel urges Chelsea to sign Gyökeres
Mikel has advised Chelsea to sign Gyökeres to provide competition for Nicolas Jackson, whom he criticised a few months ago.
Mikel said on the Obi One Podcast, "Definitely. For me, he is a Premier League player, he's a player that suits the Premier League.
“He has every attribute to be a Premier League player, strong, big, quick, and most importantly goalscoring.
"He can score goals and when you look at it, his goalscoring ratio is better than any striker right now in Europe, the stats are there to back it up.
"He has been absolutely fantastic. Scoring three goals against Man City, you don't hear that often. He has been fantastic and looks a little bit like Haaland."
Chelsea has been searching for a new striker, and it's important to note that they made an unsuccessful attempt to recruit Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window.
They will be looking to try their luck on Gyökeres in the next transfer window as they look to add more quality to their squad.
