The Manchester United boss has lauded one Red Devils player for his return to form and unmistakable leadership qualities.
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has praised Harry Maguire's resurgence, stating the defender has rediscovered his leadership qualities at Old Trafford.
Maguire, who was stripped of the captaincy by former manager Erik ten Hag, has become a key figure under the Portuguese, operating at the heart of a back three.
What Amorim said about Maguire
Speaking before Thursday night's Premier League match with Southampton, the United boss hailed the centre-back's return to form and lauded his leadership.
"I feel he is a leader again," said Amorim. "He feels more like an important player in the team. He believes in himself a lot and he's doing a great job.
"We have to praise Harry more than me. He was sick before the last game and was dead in the end. That is what I want from every player."

Amorim then weighed in on the Englishman’s new role as the central defender in his back-three system, flanked by two wide centre-backs.
"He's really good with the ball in that position," said the manager.
"You can also see in this league it is really important to be good in set-pieces and when we are defending low, there are a lot of crosses. Arsenal did a lot of crosses with Harry and we controlled that area."
