Ex-Nigeria international Mikel Obi is still not satisfied with Nicolas Jackson leading the line for Chelsea.
Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel believes his former club needs to sign a top-class striker if they are to contend for the Premier League title.
Mikel expressed his concerns about Nicolas Jackson's goalscoring form, stating that the Senegalese forward is not the type of striker who can lead Chelsea to trophies.

Chelsea's form has dipped in recent times, with the Blues falling 10 points behind league leaders Liverpool, with a game in hand for the latter.
Jackson's goalscoring concerns
Jackson has scored nine Premier League goals this season, his recent form has dipped, scoring only once in his last six appearances.
Mikel believes Jackson’s lack of clinical finishing is a major issue for Chelsea.
"We are creating chances, we are still playing well, we are still doing the right things but we’re not clinical enough, we’re not scoring goals," Mikel said on The Obi One Podcast.
Mikel suggests Osimhen and Gyokeres as potential solutions
Mikel suggested that Chelsea should reignite their interest in Victor Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, or consider signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP.
He believes these strikers possess the goalscoring prowess needed to elevate Chelsea to title contenders.
"If we had Victor Osimhen or the guy from Sporting, Viktor Gyokeres, trust me, we’d still be competing for the Premier League," Mikel stated.
Jackson needs competition, not replacement
Mikel clarified that he doesn't believe Jackson is a bad player, but that he needs competition for his place.
He drew parallels with Didier Drogba's time at Chelsea, where he faced competition from other top strikers.
"The club should’ve done that before the start of the season. I definitely think the club should get another centre forward," Mikel concluded.
Mikel Obi doesn't anticipate any January signings but expects Chelsea to address the striker situation in the summer transfer window.
