Fulham boss Marco Silva has backed Alex Iwobi for success in his music career following the Nigeria international’s release of his second studio single.

Iwobi's spanking new single

As Pulse Sports reported, the former Arsenal man released his second song in a matter of months, titled “What's Luv.

The song is a fusion of Afro-swing and hip-hop, with the Nigerian flowing effortlessly on the beat, displaying his variety of talent. He featured close friend SPKS and rising artiste MBrown on the track, released under Project 17.

The single comes three months after Iwobi's first single, “Don't Shoot.” Both songs have been very well received by fans, at least on social media, and the Nigerian's coach Marco Silva understands why.

What Silva said

Iwobi has been one of the Cottagers' best players in the Premier League this season and has regularly received praise for his on-pitch qualities from Silva.

While it is outside of his purview as Iwobi's club coach, the Portuguese was asked about the 28-year-old’s latest single. He admitted to not having listened to it but vouched for the midfielder’s talent.

“I haven’t listened to it,” Silva said, per Brila. “The boys were talking about it in the gym. He (Iwobi) has a lot of talent; I’m sure it’s very good.”

Iwobi's and Silva’s attentions will immediately shift away from the Nigerian's prospect as a music star as they have an important Premier League clash against Brentford tomorrow. The Nigerian is expected to be named from the start in the Monday night fixture at Cravens Cottage.
