The Bundesliga giants have conceded in all but two games this season, leading to criticism of their structure.

ESPN’s Alejandro Moreno has criticised Bayern Munich’s defensive structure after their 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kim Min-jae opened the scoring for the Bavarians only for Omar Marmoush and Hugo Ekitike to put the home side ahead.

Goals from Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise sent Vincent Kompany's men 3-2 up before the hour mark, and it stayed that way until Marmoush netted an equaliser in second-half stoppage time as Bayern dropped two points in gameweek six.

What Moreno said about Bayern’s defence

The concession of that late leveller saw Moreno slam Die Bayern’s structure in the game’s closing moments.

“It’s 94th minute, you’ve already been done on the counter twice, and instead of recognising that you should put the ball in the final third and defend with a back four, Alphonso Davies is up, Konrad Laimer is up, Kim tries to win a ball that he’s not going to get to,” said the irked pundit on ESPN.

“And guess what happens? Now, in the 94th minute, you’re allowing a one-v-one situation.

“This would be unacceptable at the high school level. It would be a mistake at the high school level.

“In the 94th minute, you have to know how to close out a game.”

What next for Bayern Munich?
