Kudus tipped to win CAF Award
Mohammed Kudus has been endorsed by Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu to win the African Player of the Year title in the future.
Agyemang-Badu told Flashscore.com, “I was hoping he would make the shortlist, but there were also many outstanding players who performed exceptionally well in Africa last year.
“Kudus is still young and has plenty of opportunities to be crowned Africa’s best. He just needs to stay focused, keep learning, and continue to grow. His time will come—it’s a marathon, not a sprint.”
Badu praised the outstanding efforts of the other nominees despite being disappointed by Kudus' exclusion.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles stars Ademola Lookman and Troost Ekong made the list for the CAF POTY award.
The Atalanta winger is considered the favourite to win the award after an excellent performance last season.
