The Bullet suffered their 22nd loss of the season.
Vihiga Bullets coach Louis Kizito was left with mixed emotions after his side suffered a 2-0 premier league loss to Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday afternoon.
Bullets pulled out an impressive display in which they took the game to Homeboyz in the first stanza, but they failed at the last hurdle to pull the ball at the back of the net twice.

The newly-appointed gaffer has revealed his worries days after their 4-0 loss to Kenya Police.
However, in the second stanza, they displayed a disjointed game, and it took two foolish mistakes at the back, which Homeboyz capitalized for the Bullets' 22nd loss of the season.
"I think we have improved our display from our last game. Today it was a little better position-wise. Overall our defense was not bad.
But we are still conceding a few cheap goals. If we stop the goals, we can start looking forward," he said.

FKFPL New Vihiga Bullets coach Louis Kizito hopeful they won't be relegated
The Uganda coach will take over the reins at Bullets from Milton Kidiga who has been relegated to assistant coach role.
The next assignment for Kizito and his players will be on Wednesday, and the former Oduparaka assistant coach has promised to shut the back door in his team after conceding six goals in his first two matches in charge.
"We are playing Ulinzi Stars away on Wednesday in Nairobi and we are going to tighten a little more on defense. That is really our achilles heel but if we can work on that in training grounds it can be improved," he added.
In the match, the Bullets were always misfiring upfront, with the likes of David Chesali and Timonah Wanyonyi also failing to convert several chances that came their way.
"I think we will have a good match against Ulinzi Stars as we are not starting to look at how to score goals and stop conceding," he concluded.
