Balde's incident happened halfway through the first half of the Catalan giants' loss to Las Palmas in La Liga.

According to the Sun, the Spanish defender collided with Sandro Ramirez while battling for the ball and went down.
He collapsed on the ground, choking and coughing while his neck was held. After that, the Spaniard vomited up what Dentro De Juego said was blood.

The full-back was later put on a stretcher and taken for further assessment before being replaced by Gerard Martin.
The extent of the injury is yet to be verified by the medical staff as the club awaits reports on Balde.
