Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag could have several new faces by the time the Red Devils play in the Community Shield against Manchester City.

Manchester United are looking to return to their glory days under new co-owners INEOS, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The club has already made some moves on the transfer front, including the £35m acquisition of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and the impending arrival of Leny Yoro from Lille.

With the potential addition of PSG's Manuel Uguarte, here's how Manchester United could line up in the 2023/24 season:

Manchester United's Potential XI for 2024/25

Expected Starting XI:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana

Defenders:

- Right-back: Diogo Dalot

- Centre-back: Lisandro Martinez

- Centre-back: Leny Yoro

- Left-back: Luke Shaw

Midfielders:

- Defensive midfielder: Manuel Uguarte (target)

- Central midfielder: Kobbie Mainoo

- Attacking midfielder: Bruno Fernandes

Forwards:

- Right-wing: Garnacho

- Striker: Joshua Zirkzee (new signing)

- Left-wing: Marcus Rashford

This lineup offers a strong balance of defense, creativity, and attacking flair. Leny Yoro's arrival would provide ten Hag with a quick and agile replacement for Raphael Varane, while Joshua Zirkzee's signing would bolster the attacking options.

Manuel Uguarte's potential addition would bring steel and depth to the defensive midfield role.

Of course, this is just one possible lineup, and ten Hag may choose to experiment with different formations and personnel.

Nevertheless, with these new signings, The Red Devils could be a formidable force in the 2023/24 season.

Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho could play a part for the Red Devils next season after returning to training last week.

The player famously fell out with Ten Hag last season but appears to have found a way back after showdown talks.
