He disclosed this during a press briefing at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere-Lagos.

He said, "Football should be the easiest to administer, why the headache once there is evidence that a Team, Player or Match Official is found wanting, the NLO does not waste time in handing out sanctions in that regard.

"Clubs are reaping the benefits of the enabling environment we have created in NLO, with the different shirt sponsorship deals that have come their way. Recently Iganmu FC, Lekki United and a few others have informed the NLO of their shirt deals."

"We have clubs that have been existing for a very long time as community/grassroots teams."

The League will start on Wednesday, May 3rd, with the curtain raiser, a Kano Derby between Kano Pillars Jnr and Kwankwasiya FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
