Iwobi exposes Jay Jay Okocha’s fashion style
Iwobi, who has attended the event for the second time, has been praised for his stylish ensembles, which he credits to the style inspiration he drew from his famous uncle.
"He used to try and dress a bit wild, so I thought, 'I have to dress better than you when I'm older'," Iwobi revealed to GQ, reminiscing about Okocha's distinctive Gucci-clad looks.
He'd wear weird Gucci fits, so I used to look up to him but just to say, 'I want to dress better than [you]!’"
Iwobi's latest foray into the world of high fashion saw him donning a chic and sophisticated outfit from the South Korean brand Solid Homme.
Striking a balance between Parisian elegance and his flair, the footballer opted for a look that was "not too smart" but still impeccably put together.
With a little help from his fashion-savvy friends, Iwobi managed to curate the perfect Parisian ensemble, pairing his chosen Solid Homme creation with a sleek pair of white trainers – a touch of casual cool that perfectly complemented the sophisticated vibe.
The footballer's fashionable adventures have struck a chord with his legions of devoted fans, who have showered him with praise and admiration for his impeccable style.
Iwobi’s runway mastery is down to his uncle, Okocha, whose own legendary status on the pitch is now being echoed in the sartorial pursuits of his nephew.
As Iwobi continues to captivate audiences with his skills on the field, his fashion-forward approach off the pitch could also inspire a new generation of style-conscious athletes.
