Hummels on his fight with Terzic
Hummels shared a picture of himself with a puzzled look on Instagram on Thursday night, along with a message sharing his thoughts on the incident.
According to Daily Mail, Hummels said on his Instagram, “Summarising today will be a challenge for me too.”
Terzic is thought to have given an explosive interview before the Champions League final, which caused Hummels' relationship with him to rapidly deteriorate.
Hummels expressed his feelings to Bild about Terzic's approach to games against top teams in the league and Europe.
The defender said, “I was furious because I was of the opinion that Borussia Dortmund shouldn't play like that - against any opponent in the world.
“I didn't think it could go on like this. I felt insulted in my honour to stand on the pitch in that kit. So submissive, so inferior in footballing terms.
“The two Stuttgart games and the away game in Leverkusen. That was barricading with 11 men in the box.”
The altercation led to Terzic deciding to walk away from the team and terminate his contract with the German side.
