The extravagant piece, crafted by renowned New York jeweller Benny the Jeweler, boasted over 275 carats of emerald baguettes and carbon fibre, shaped into Osimhen’s signature mask.
The move didn’t sit well with fans, who flooded social media with comments, questioning why Osimhen hadn’t publicly acknowledged Lookman’s monumental win.

The backlash reached a peak when a fan called Osimhen out directly, writing in the comments of his post on X:
“You never congratulate Lookman, wey tin sup?”
Osimhen was quick to respond, clearing the air: “Done since yesterday around 23:49 Turkish time.”
Another fan stoked the fire, saying: “Twitter judges say you no wish Lookman.”
Osimhen sharply maintained: “Them dey joke, them no say I definitely congratulate am immediately after my game.”
