On-loan Napoli striker Osimhen didn't score on his Galatasaray debut, but he provided an assist.

The high-profile striker who joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window, was eager to impress the home fans and he succeeded, helping secure a decisive victory for his new team.

Galatasaray seized control early, scoring twice in the first half to take a comfortable lead at the break. Although Osimhen didn't score on his debut, his contribution to one of the goals was significant.

The Nigerian striker declared his full dedication to giving his best for the Turkish champions. Osimhen's debut was a positive one, contributing an assist in their dominant 5-0 victory over Çaykur Rizespor. “First of all, I am very happy to be here. I came to this city for the first time. We met with our fans. What we experienced was a great feeling. It was a very important match,” Osimhen told the club’s official website

“When I heard the interest during the transfer period, it was very important for me. I knew how big Galatasaray was, and how big the fan base was. It was exciting for me to come here.

"There was no question mark in my head. When I came here, it was the same as I thought. I know how important every match is. I will fight as much as I can," he concluded.

The 25-year-old striker has already established himself as a key figure for club and find the back of the net in subsequent games.
