Posta Rangers have frustrated both Gor Mahia and Tusker, title chasing teams, from getting all three points in the second half of the season.
Posta Rangers head coach John Kamau has explained the reason his side have developed a reputation for upsetting the big sides after frustrating Tusker to a 1-1 draw at the Ruaraka grounds on Saturday.
A win for Tusker would effectively have put them back top of the league with a game to spare after Gor Mahia lost to Kakamega Homeboyz at the MISC Kasarani stadium at the same time.
In April. The side also frustrated Gor Mahia to a 2-2 draw having gone two goals down, which effectively prevented Gor Mahia from maintaining their lead at the top of the table.
Kamau stressed that his side were about getting results to help themselves progress and gifting other sides wins because they are on top
“I will put it very simply,” he said, “I have been in this industry since 2012 and I do no not come to help someone achieve his objectives, but my own,” he added.

Meanwhile, the former Harambee Stars assistant coach has expressed his satisfaction at his side making progress as a side that seeks to attack at every available opportunity and avoids being an overly negative side.
“We have made a very big step. Every game, we have been creating five or six clear cut chances every time. It is a process and we have to be present and not be shy.
“The pitch at Ruaraka was not favorable enough for us to be able to express ourselves how we wanted but I am happy with the way the team coped with the issue on the pitch but we need to be more clinical in the opponents box.”
