Arsenal's legendary goalkeeper, Jens Lehmann, has spoken about Mikel Arteta’s ability to lead the Gunners to glory.
Arteta’s team fell short of winning the Premier League title twice, allowing Manchester City to retain the title and creating history.
The Gunners came in second twice in a row, having fallen short in the title race towards the end of the season.
Lehmann, who played under Arsene Wenger and set an unbeaten record in 2003, does not see Arteta as a winner.

Arsenal set to offer manager Mikel Arteta huge pay rise, making him one of the best-paid coaches
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, is on track to become one of the highest-paid managers in the Premier League as he enters formal contract negotiations.
Lehmann on Arteta’s winning mentality
The former Arsenal goalkeeper has hailed Arteta for the tremendous change to the Arsenal team but has questioned his winning mentality.
According to the Telegraph, Lehmann said, “Arteta has done really well bringing Arsenal up but if he is the right man for Arsenal now … I am not sure. Because you need to prove it.
“We could have won [the league] twice. Last year they were leading and in one month [April] they lost it [three draws and one defeat].
“The culmination was when [Bukayo] Saka missed the penalty against West Ham at 2-0 up and it was a draw. It was two points.
“What people who hire coaches sometimes don’t understand is that the personality of the coach is super important as well.
“Look at the personality of the coach. Is he a winner or is he a nice guy who brings you to a certain level and then it is over?”
Lehmann is thinking about going into management, and he feels he knows what it takes to win trophies.
He acknowledges that he gained a reputation for being tough along the way, and he doesn't dispute it because it was a necessary cost of being a professional.
