What Mbappe said
Amid a season of struggles abroad and controversy from back home in France, Mbappe sat down with Cliquetv to address some of the rumours about him.
He spoke at length about many issues; one such was his relationship with Messi at PSG. The Real Madrid man famously idolises Cristiano Ronaldo; hence, he was rumoured to have had a sour relationship with the Portuguese's counterpart, Messi, during their time as teammates.
According to Mbappe, a lot of their relationship was student-teacher, as he spent the time like a sponge, soaking up knowledge from Messi.
“Messi does everything well. You can learn everything from a guy like that,’ Mbappe told the outlet. “I used to go up to him and ask him: How do you do this? How do you do that?”
