Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo has backed Ademola Lookman to be crowned CAF Player of the Year for 2024.
The 2024 CAF Awards are just around the corner, and Nigeria's Ademola Lookman is a strong favourite to take the ultimate prize at the ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco on December 16.
The Atalanta forward faces competition from nine other nominees, including Super Eagles teammate William Troost-Ekong.
However, the 27-year-old winger is widely tipped to take home the honor after an impressive year.

Kanu Nwankwo, a two-time winner of the award has been speaking about Lookman's chances in an interview with Brilla FM.
"He's a very good player, humble, works very hard... going by the records, I believe he will win."
Kanu's endorsement is well-founded. Lookman was the only African player nominated for the 2024 Ballon d'Or, finishing an impressive 14th.
