Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has revealed that Victor Osimhen is a long-time Chelsea fan.
During the summer transfer window, Osimhen was a target for Chelsea, as they made several efforts to sign the forward.
The Blues kept a close eye on him for a long time but failed to agree on personal terms with the Nigerian international, leading to a breakdown in negotiation.
However, Ekong’s new revelation has added fuel to ongoing transfer speculations, linking him with a move to the Premier League.

Ekong reveals Osimhen’s best club
Troost-Ekong has revealed Osimhen’s favourite club, which could also be his next destination in the summer.
The defender said via a Facebook post by Fabrizio Romano, "I can tell you that Victor Osimhen is a Chelsea fan, I can confirm it.
"He’s a great teammate, in front of the goal he can be very greedy, but he’s someone who speaks up for the team in the changing room, he’s a real leader and I’m sure he’ll be captain soon.”
Osimhen's attributes were further praised by Troost-Ekong, who called him a "great teammate" and "very greedy" in front of goal.
The 25-year-old has been nothing short of spectacular since moving to Istanbul, making just thirteen appearances in all competitions while contributing five assists and ten goals.
Chelsea are interested in buying him during the upcoming winter transfer window, which has sparked new rumours about his future due to his outstanding play.
With the Blues looking to bolster their attack, Osimhen's Chelsea loyalty being confirmed could open the door for a possible transfer at the end of the 2024–2025 campaign.
