Super Eagles head captain Ahmed Musa has revealed he does not care about criticism following his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria legend Ahmed Musa has received endless criticism in the wake of his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad for AFCON 2023.

Musa has been a non-factor for his club Sivasspor, getting no competitive minutes in the club's last 6 games.

Ahmed Musa not bothered by criticism

However, the ex-Leicester City man has said the noise and criticism on social media does not bother him.

Ahmed Musa will play for Nigeria at AFCON 2023

“I see the comments on social media, but I don’t listen to what people say. I work hard always to do my talking on the pitch,” he told reporters in Abidjan.

“This is the same thing my teammates are doing. People talk about our players but I say we have the best players here and they are all good.”

Nigeria begin their AFCON 2023 journey against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14.
