What Haaland said
The 24-year-old is now with the Norway national team, and in a press conference, he was asked if he regretted throwing the ball at the Brazil star.
He dismissed that notion, explaining that it happened in the heat of the game. He told reporters that he did not regret the action, as he does not regret things in life.
“I don’t regret much in life,” said Haaland. “In the heat of the moment, things happened in that game. What happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. That’s how it is.”
