Real Madrid coach has denied negotiating for the Brazil head coach position.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has denied negotiating with Delima Ronaldo to take over as the next Brazil head coach.

The former Milan boss has long been linked with the Selecao job. He was said to have accepted the job in 2023, when the CBF president, Ednaldo Rodrigues, claimed to have reached an agreement with him.

However, Ancelotti denied the claims before committing his future to Real Madrid verbally and contractually.

Ancelotti denies Brazil negotiations AGAIN

Former Galactico Ronaldo was in contention to become the CBF president; however, his bid was unsuccessful, and Rodrigues won reelection.

The Real Valladolid president claimed to have been in negotiations with Ancelotti to become the next Brazil coach. The Italian tactician has come out to deny it.

“I don’t remember talking about that with him,” Ancelotti said, per FootballEspana. “I’ve discussed many things with Ronaldo, but that I don’t remember.

“The contract is clear; I have nothing to add to this. I have great affection for the Brazilian national team, their players and their fans, but I have a contract with Madrid. The contract is clear.

Brazil to approach Ancelotti again

The five-time World Cup winners were embarrassed by their eternal rivals, Argentina, in this recently concluded international break, leading to speculations that current coach Dorival Junior is close to the sack.

There have been rumours that Rodrigues has contacted Ancelotti again. The Italian was asked if that was true and he said, “No.”

Ancelotti's Madrid might be handed a boost in the title race, as Barcelona risk sanctioning from FIFA. Osasuna have submitted a petition, after the Blaugrana fielded Inigo Martinez against them, who was ineligible for the match as per FIFA
