Saka’s Ballon d'Or chances
The 23-year-old winger is one of the best footballers in the world, and his recent return from injury is seen as a major boost for Arsenal and their Champions League ambitions.
The Gunners are set to play Real Madrid in the quarter-final of the competition, and with Saka back in the side, many believe Mikel Arteta's side stand a chance against the 15-time champions.
21st is Saka’s best finish in the Ballon d'Or. However, leading the North London giants to their first-ever Champions League glory this season could propel him to as high as a top-five finish.

What Saka said
Understanding that he is one of the players with a viable chance of winning French Football's coveted prize, Saka said he dreams of the Ballon d'Or. However, he ensured to stipulate that collective trophies were first and foremost, his main goal.
“The Ballon d’Or is a dream but my focus is on winning titles at Arsenal,” Saka said in the pre-match press conference of the Real Madrid clash.
“I’m just working hard to do the best for my team. Any individual awards that come I’ll accept them.”
Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Mohamed Salah are three of the front runners for this year's award, and like Saka, they are right-wingers.
Yamal is particularly interesting, as he is 17 years old, and winning this year would effectively make him the youngest in the award's history. Here are seven times he has shown he deserves the prize as much as anyone.
