'Dream come true' — Liverpool's Luis Diaz settles Messi vs Ronaldo debate
Liverpool star Luis Diaz has settled the never-ending GOAT debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
He had a good campaign but did not particularly set the world alight. This season, however, his prominence has waned, and he has even had to be dropped into defence to get game time.
What Endo said
The Japan international has had varying roles and importance under erstwhile manager Klopp and the current gaffer, Slot.
He was quizzed about the difference between both coaches, and the former Stuttgart midfielder confirmed what many have noticed this season: the Dutch coach's approach to controlling games.
While Klopp's football is typically heavy metal, energetic and fast-paced, Slot, despite maintaining their pressing philosophy, is more cautious.
“I wouldn't say there's a lot of difference—we want to put pressure high,” Endo said. “I think the new manager is more stable so he likes the players to stay in their positions how he wants and that's different.
But I really enjoy how he plays at the moment and I think everyone enjoys playing his tactics.”
