Ademola Lookman has revealed that it has been an amazing experience to play for interim Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen.
Eguavoen served as the Super Eagles' manager from 2005–2007, 2010 and 2022 before returning for a fourth stint as a caretaker.
He took over as manager after Bruno Labbadia withdrew from contract negotiations with the Nigeria Football Federation, and since then, the team's performance has improved.
The Super Eagles team have gone on to win three games and draw one since he was named the head coach.

Lookman speaks on Eguavoen
Atalanta star Lookman, who was recently ranked 14th in the Ballon d'Or standings, has spoken highly about Eguavoen
Lookman was asked about his experience playing under Nigeria's temporary coach Eguavoen and his opinions on Nigeria's prospects of making it to the 2026 World Cup in an interview that was posted to YouTube on Friday morning.
He told 54footballx: "It has been great. I have known him obviously the coach before because he gave me my first call-up to play for Nigeria, so I know him very well.
"We've shown good performances as a team in these Afcon qualifiers and now we need to do better on a consistent basis.
"We've won two games and drawn one game, so we will continue in this manner and try to win our games.
“Obviously the goal is to qualify for the Afcon and World Cup, so we are looking to do those things.”
On November 14th, Lookman will receive his 28th senior cap when the Super Eagles play Gernot Rohr's Republic of Benin in a qualification match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
