Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola analysed his side's defeat to Aston Villa.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted that he would have to make a shift in his approach to stop the haemorrhaging and save their season.
The Cityzens have been uncharacteristically abysmal. They have only managed one win in their last games in all competitions and suffered their 6th defeat of the campaign earlier today, three more than they registered in the entirety of last season.

'I haven't been good enough' — Self critical Haaland says he is low on confidence after Aston Villa defeat
Erling Haaland brutally criticised himself following the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
What Guardiola said
The most recent poor result came earlier today when they were fairly conveniently beaten by Aston Villa, despite the scoreline ending 2-1.
Analysing the game, Guardiola said, “We make a really good first half, second half we dropped. We changed our pressing for the reason John [Stones] could not continue. Congratulations Aston Villa and keep going."
“We struggled a little bit and we could not drop them well. We found a goal in the end, but too late. We struggle to score and we concede goals."
He found some positives, however, as he believes some of his players, specifically Foden, are returning to form. "The last one or two games, he has been better. Most of the players have had problems. Sometimes the next season is not the same; the people change and the situation changes. Today we made a really good game.”
"Step by step, we have nice personalities in the team and sooner or later we are going to find it."
As if he will make any tweaks to his approach, Guardiola conceded, saying changes were necessary. "Yeah. I have to do it. Back my players, that is what will be different."
