The Super Eagles striker, currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen, had an amazing year with the German Club, as he was an important part of the team that won the league for the first time ever.
Bayer Leverkusen went the entire league campaign unbeaten with a final win over Augsburg on May 19, 2024; Boniface scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in their title-winning campaign.
He also won DFB Pokal and DFL Super Cup with Bayer Leverkusen but pulled out of Nigeria's African Cup of Nations squad due to injury.
