Kylian Mbappe appears to be finding his form at Real Madrid, having scored a vital goal in their 3-0 win against Leganes.

The French star netted his first goal in five matches for Real Madrid, leading them to the victory in La Liga on Sunday.

Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham also scored, to lead Madrid to second place, four points behind leaders Barcelona, who have a game in hand.

Speaking after the match, Mbappe expressed satisfaction with his performance and his growing understanding with his teammates, particularly Vinicius Jr.

"Vinicius and I read each other very well. I've got a great relationship with him and he's a great player.

"I think I put in a good performance. I'm starting to get up to speed with my teammates. I can play in every position and I'm ready to help the team and give my all.

"It's the story of my career. I play on the right, on the left, in the middle and with two up top. It doesn't matter to me. I want to help the team and score goals," Mbappe told Real Madrid TV.

Madrid prepares to face Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday in a Champions League match, aiming to recover from two defeats in their first four European games.
