Ex-Gunner Bacary Sagna was a fan favourite duirng his time in the Premier League and Arsenal.
The former French international has revealed his admiration for Newcastle United star, Allan Saint-Maximin.
Sagna is so in love with his compatriot that he won't mind to see him wear the Arsenal colours this season.
Saint-Maximin is arguably one of the best wingers in the Premier League despite playing outside the big six.
Last season, he played a pivotal role to help the Magpies not only avoid relegation waters but finish in a respectable position under new manager, Eddie Howe.
He contributed 10 goals (5 goals, 5 assists) in 31 PL matches for Newcastle United last season.
While his stats from last season hardly looks impressive, there is no doubt that Saint-Maximin is an exciting player to watch on the pitch.
But does he have what it takes to make it at one of the traditional top six sides?
Sagna rates Saint-Maximin highly
The former Arsenal star believes his 25-year-old compatriot has all the tools and wants to see him at the Emirates.
"I really like Saint-Maximin a lot," Sagna said as per Lord Ping.
"I love the way he plays, with so much tricks and skills. He is a nightmare for any defender. He is a player that can electrify a match, Stadium and make a difference. "
However, while it's Sagna's dream to see Saint-Maximin at the Emirates, he admits a move away from St. James Park maybe a difficult one.
"I would love to see him play for Arsenal because it is a joy to watch him play and I think he would provide a spark and something different in the squad," Sagna added.
"But I’m not sure Arsenal could sign him because he would want to play every game."
