Osimhen makes Europa League promise to Galatasaray fans
After the game, Osimhen made a promise to Galatasaray fans, saying,
"I said I would score a goal, I did. I make another promise: I will bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey."
Osimhen also reflected on the performance of his side against the Dutch club.
"It feels good to score a goal. We left with one point. We will continue. Our team's performance was good. We remain unbeaten in Europe," he added.
With Mauro Icardi out until the end of the season, Osimhen will shoulder the burden of Galatasaray's goals, and the Nigerian is embracing that challenge with vigour.
He has also expressed his desire to remain in Turkey at least until the end of the season. However, rumors continue circulating about his next club, with Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly interested.
For now, Osimhen's priority remains Galatasaray, and he is letting his goals speak for him.
