Chelsea's bloated squad and high talent level has pushed some players to the fringes but one man is determined to fight for his place.
Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has quashed rumors of a potential January exit, reaffirming his commitment to the Blues.
Despite limited playing time in the Premier League this season, with only two unused substitute appearances, Casadei remains resolute in his decision to stay at Stamford Bridge.
He did, however, get a chance to shine in Chelsea's 5-0 League Cup thrashing of Barrow, playing the full 90 minutes.

Casadei has no plans to leave Chelsea
“I’m not thinking of leaving Chelsea in January, not now,” he emphasized.
The Italian revealed that he had deliberately opted to stay at Chelsea beyond the summer, following discussions with the club.
“I decided to stay and not go out on loan, after speaking to Maresca,” Casadei explained.
“I never had plans to leave permanently. I always wanted to play for Chelsea, one of the biggest teams in the world.”
