Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has weighed in on the recent debate between Erling Haaland and Victor Osimhen over who is the world's top striker.
Osimhen and Haaland have started the new season in form as they chip in goals for their respective clubs.
The Super Eagles star has currently made 11 goal contributions in his first nine games since joining Galatasaray, while the Manchester City forward has 15 contributions in all competitions.
Their form and goalscoring prowess this season have led to conversations about who among the two is the best striker in Europe.

Buruk names his best striker
Buruk has declared Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to be the top forward in Europe at the moment.
In an interview shared by Assist Analiz, “There are not many elite strikers in Europe. Haaland may come to mind first, but since Manchester City have lost in recent weeks, I would say Osimhen is the best right now.”
Buruk said Osimhen's recent performances have distinguished him from the former Borussia Dortmund striker, although acknowledging Haaland's enormous potential.
After his recent performances for his club and nation, Buruk selected the Super Eagles talisman above Erling Haaland of Manchester City.
Osimhen scored for Nigeria in their 1-1 draw with Benin Republic and helped the Super Eagles secure a ticket to the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.
