Uganda Cranes and New York Red Bulls II midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has been named MLS NEXT Pro Player of the Matchweek for his two-goal display against Inter Miami CF II on Sunday at MSU Soccer Park.
The 21-year-old scored in the 51st minute through a penalty and added a brilliant second in the 67th minute, as his team drew 3-3 with Miami.
In addition to his two goals, Kasule converted his shot in the shootout to help New York claim the second point in the standings.
Meanwhile, Kasule's brace took his 2024 MLS Next Pro tally to two goals and as many assists in two games.
