I'd swap everything — Kane ready to make big sacrifice to win Euros

England striker Harry Kane wants to win the European Championship final against Spain at all costs.

England national team captain Harry Kane has stated that he is willing to trade all of his individual awards on the condition that the Three Lions triumph over Spain and win the European Championship.

Kane is one of the best strikers of his generation. However, at 30, he has yet to have his first taste of major silverware. His search has been long and arduous, like England's, that are on a 58-year trophy drought themselves.

Kane and his country can both end the rut should they beat La Roja tomorrow, and the Bayern Munich striker is ready to make major sacrifices for the cause.

What Kane said

"It's no secret that I haven't won a team trophy and every year goes by I'm more motivated and more determined to change that,” Kane told reporters.

“Tomorrow night I have an opportunity to win one of the biggest you could ever win and make history with my nation, [and] I'm extremely proud to be English.

"No question, I'd swap everything I've done in my career to have a special night and a win tomorrow evening. That's not the case. There's a lot of hard work until that moment but I'm really determined to make tomorrow night a special one."

Although he has a barren trophy cabinet, his award shelf is on par with those of other top footballers. As a striker, he has won top scorer in the World Cup, Champions League, and Premier League and is on course to add the Euros to it, as he is the joint-top scorer in the competition with one game left to play.
