Leicester City weigh up options for managerial role after sacking Brendan Rodgers.
Leicester City are in the market for a new manager after sacking Brendan Rodgers following a poor string of results that leaves them second-to-bottom in the Premier League table.
To fill the vacant role, the Foxes are said to be evaluating Premier League-experienced managers who can navigate successfully through a relegation dogfight.

Leicester search for new managers
According to the Independent, the 2015 Premier League winners have changed the course of their search after getting turned down by Graham Potter and are now looking to go a similar route as Crystal Palace, who brought back Roy Hodgson, in going for an experienced manager to help stave off relegation.
One of the names on their list, according to the source, is former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, who is currently out of job.
Benitez's last managerial role was at Everton before he was fired during the 2021/season and replaced by Frank Lampard.
The other name on the list is Gary O'Neil, who is no stranger to the Leicester job, having been in charge between 1995 and 2000.

Newcastle United are said to be in line to Land Leicester City's contract rebel.
Potter was put out of his misery by Chelsea on Sunday following the Blues’ abysmal recent form that saw them win only three of their last 11 games to sit in the bottom half of the Premier League.
Despite Potter’s dismal Chelsea reign, the former Blues’ boss was handed an immediate return to Premier League football with Leicester City, but has reportedly rejected the opportunity as he prefers to wait until the end of the season before making a choice on where to pitch his tent next.
