Ikwaput guided Lady Doves to the 2021 FUFA Women's Super League title, scoring eight goals in five games.
Uganda Crested Cranes and Kampala Queens striker Fazila Ikwaput is raring to go as her club awaits the 2023 CAF Women's Champions League on home soil.
Ikwaput guided Lady Doves to the 2021 FUFA Women's Super League title, scoring eight goals in five games.
She went on to score five at the inaugural CAF Champions League CECAFA qualifiers, but her efforts were not enough to seal qualifications to the continental finals as they settled for bronze.
The striker now wants to make it count this time when the qualifiers are played at Njeru and Kampala from August 12th.
"We are preparing well as a team and want to do better in the tournament," Ikwaput told club media.
"Personally, I want to give the needed push to see that we go through. I have played this tournament before in 2021 [with Lady Doves] and want to do better than what I did then," she added.
The striker joined the Ugandan champions in May from Cypriot giants Omonia Women FC.
