Chairman Wontumi's plan is contingent upon him becoming the chairman of Asante Kotoko in the near future.

His vision is to restore the club to its former glory, drawing inspiration from the successful tenure of former chairman Herbert Mensah.

This move is seen as a strategic effort to promote Ghanaian football and attract international attention. By bringing legendary players to the country, Chairman Wontumi hopes to inspire a new generation of footballers and elevate the sport's standards in Ghana.
