Nigerian football legend Sunday Oliseh praised Chelsea for their exciting brand of football.

Super Eagles legend Sunday Oliseh has tipped Chelsea for success this season, and he expressed how entertaining they are following their 4-2 thumping of Brighton

Chelsea thump Brighton

The Seagulls struck first and inside the first ten minutes after a Georginio Rutter side. They were on the ascendency after the goal but did not compound the scoreline before Chelsea wrestled back control.

Cole Palmer restored parity in the 21st minute after connecting with Nico Jackson, and he sent Chelsea ahead from the penalty spot seven minutes later.

Only three minutes after his second, inside the 31st minute, he grabbed his hat-trick. And just before halftime, the England international scored again for his and Chelsea's fourth, a Premier League record, but not before Carlos Baleba made the scoreline 3-2.

What Oliseh said

The former Dortmund midfielder was seemingly thrilled by the encounter, and following the final whistle, he took to social media to hail Chelsea, and he expressed that he had high hopes for them this season.

“So far, I am having so much fun watching this Chelsea side play this season. Full of movement, goals, well structured off the ball and better organised networking. They could do something this year. Don't bet against them.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca hailed Cole Palmer's humility and hunger after the 22-year-old's record-breaking display against Brighton.
